Mirabai Holland Skeletal Fitness 2, A Workout for Your Bones: Interval Cardio/Strength

great exercise older generation
It is just the right amount of exercise without feeling over done and it is fun to do.
I alternate days with the 2nd DVD.

EXCellent!
I love this DVD and use it every other day. The variety is excellent, and like the alternation of cardio and strength training -- for one thing, it's less boring than many other exercise DVD's I've used. Mirabai is a good instructor, and I also find her exercises more aesthetically pleasing than my other exercise DVD's.

Great routine
This is a great exercise routine for anyone...but especially the older crowd!! Mirabai is good at going slow and using moves that are easy to do for the older person. I am 67yrs and enjoy the moves and stretches that Mirabi takes you through. You can repeat the video to even add more cardio! I even have her first video and alternate days with both videos...skipping the strength training on the 2nd video if I do them on alternate days.

CSI: NY - The Eighth Season

The (Semi) Final Season...
The eighth season of "CSI: NY" opens with Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Siniese) absent from the CSI Lab, on a DNA ID project associated with the 9/11 attacks, while Jo Danville (Sela Ward) is acting head of the CSI lab, and newly-promoted police sergeant Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo) is working the streets as a uniformed cop. However, viewers need have no fear; the CSI Lab crew will be reunited within a few exciting episodes.

An early highlight of the season was a tasteful tribute to the 9/11 anniversary, as the characters discuss where they were when it all happened. Mac Taylor sheds some light on the fate of his long missing wife, while assisting an emotionally-damaged fellow public servant to face the day. A mid-season multi-episode thriller involves a case from Jo's past with the FBI, a serial rapist who resurfaces in NYC with disturbing consequences. In late season, Mac Taylor will hestitantly consider a relationship with a woman from his past as a police...

Missing Persons bureau....
CSI:NY continues to amaze its avid followers with the uncanny brilliance of mixing science and criminology. The characters grow and mature as personalities instead of tropes. Gary Sinise remains at the helm, and his trusty associates are Carmine Giovinazzo (in a wheelchair this year after a gunshot wound to the spine), Anna Belknap, autopsy expert Robert Joy, funky A.J. Buckley who adds much of the humor when necessary, the every bright Hill Harper, and the amazingly handsome and trustworthy actor Eddie Cahill. Now Sela Ward has stepped in to attempt to fill the shoes worn for so many seasons (2004 - 2010) by the beautiful and talented Melina Kanakaredes, who is a very much-missed member of the team for many reasons. The scripts remain tight and intelligent and the pacing of the show never misses a beat. This is television series at the highest level. Nice to know it has been picked up for another season. If only Melina Kanakaredes could slip back in from missing persons....Grady...

Great Season But Image Quality is lacking
Season 8 has it's flaws creatively, but it is definitely one of the better seasons for sure.

However, the one thing that bothered me about this DVD set was the image quality. Compared to past seasons of CSI:NY and even this year's releases of CSI and CSI:MIAMI, season eight of CSI:NY has a noticeable dip in quality, possibly due to excessive image compression. Some images are blocky (artifacting) and some jagged images (aliasing) appears in some of the action/tracking shots. I know that this problem isn't because of my equipment, as I own (and tested) the other CSI shows and seasons on the same gear with no other problems.

A curious problem to an otherwise great DVD set.

If this sort of thing doesn't bother you (and admittedly, after two episodes or more, your eye adjusts) by all means get the this set; CSI:NY is a wonderful show. However, its image quality does hurt the overall presentation.

Through The Eyes of A Caddy

The Caddy always knows!!
Very interesting and informative video. Wish there were more videos like this one. Shows how subtle changes can make a big difference to swing but also approach to golf.

Not really instructional DVD
Thought this video dealt with the "man" and his life in golf rather than helping anyone with their game. I learned Carl was a great caddy to have at your side

Interesting info - poorly done
This appeared to be an amateur presentation. Not professionally done at all. That being said, it was at times an interesting video about an interesting man.

Oberto

Energetic!!
There are far more pressing questions in today's world than why did Bartolomeo Merrilli, the manager of La Scala, sign Verdi to a contract for three operas after Oberto was performed in November, 1839? But for the operatically curious, this disc provides the answer. At the outset here, I want to be totally clear: my 5 ***** rating is based on evaluating this performance for what it is; not in light of what Verdi would become, but rather what he was and what he composed in 1839 as his first opera.

It had become trendy by the end of the 19th century, as well as the first half of the 20th, to dismiss almost all of the Bel Canto operas and all of Verdi's early works (before Rigoletto) as trashy and inconsequential. Fortunately for opera lovers, the last 50 or so years has resulted in a re-examination of these works and a welcome proliferation of performances and video recordings of them. Works that had been consigned to the trash bin of history are now seen to be excellent,...

A good start
This set is a good beginning in two ways. First, it is Verdi's first opera and the start of a great career. Second it is the launch of Tutti Verdi, a massive undertaking to issue a DVD of every Verdi opera (plus the Requiem). As for Oberto it is a decent beginning. It is not a hard listen. Verdi never bores. Even at the beginning of his career Verdi has the genius necessary to create an interesting opera.
As for this recording it does justice to this early work. The artists are all unknown to me. The singing is pretty good, the drama not so, but then this is not a great libretto. Best of the singers is the tenor Fabio Satori as Riccardo. Unfortunately in today's opera world he will not have a great career since he is not film star handsome. Nor is he any shakes as an actor. The director does little. He stops the action at times by having his characters pose in Robert Wilson-like gestures. I guess this gets him through some static sections but it doesn't show much genius. The...

Not the correct video
Like a previous writer, I have also bought two versions of this DVD and they both were a video of samples of the whole series, while the label on the DVD correctly said Oberto. I have been trying to call UNITEL CLASSICA to tell them of this problem but has not been able to reach them. Very frustrating.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - The 12th Season

CSI returns to form in season 12
CSI is the long-running CBS procedural drama about a group of crime scene investigators in Las Vegas. The show was a big hit for most of it's run and eventually became one of the most watched TV shows in the world. However, the show had to go through some changes after original star William Petersen left midway through season 9. They brought in film star Laurence Fishburne as the new lead and the transition appeared to go smoothly. However, I think most fans can say the show eventually went into a rut creatively and viewership started to drop in seasons 10 and 11. It was no longer the top show on Thursday nights. After Fishburne decided to leave after a low rated season 11, CBS brought in long-time TV star Ted Danson as the new lead. He played DB Russell, the new night supervisor and a former Seattle CSI. Honestly, after I heard that Danson was cast, I wasn't in love with the choice. But, to my suprise, Danson brought new life to an aging show. I think the Russell character...

CSI The 12th Season Returns!!
In the 12th season of CSI introduces the three new characters, Elisabeth Shue, Elisabeth Harnois joins in as the new CSI's Julie Finlay, and Morgan Brody. Also joining in former "Cheers" star Ted Danson joins in as the new CSI Supervisor D.B Russell. After 12 seasons, 263 episodes, Marg Helgenberger returns in her final season of the show as Catherine Willows. The 12th season of CSI contains 22 episodes!! And thank god that it's coming back for it's 13th season!!

CSI 12
The season just finished but I love this show so much I purchase the DVD after each season. I like to watch the show over again later on a weekend when I can watch all the episodes at once.

Rescue Me: The Complete Series

A for the Show, F for Package Execution
I love this show and bought each season individually. I thought I would like to have the show in one boxed set instead so I purchased this item. What a mistake I made. There is a reason this packaging is half the size of the individually boxed seasons. Upon opening the set I had a hard time getting the center to slide out of the shell. Turns out the inside is very flimsy and cheap! It opens out to the two cheapest plastic [don't even know if I should use that word to describe the material] containers. Each container holds half of the discs on a flimsy spindle. There is nothing to protect the discs from one another, they are just stacked on top of each other. The worst part of this packaging is how they chose to keep the discs in place. They chose to insert round brown cardboard pieces stuffed into the containers. They might as well have used duct tape instead. This is by far the worst packaging I have ever seen in my life. I can't believe they chose such inferior products...

LOVE this show, but the way this was handled is just wrong
If you're considering this, you've already seen the show, or you're a fan. It's a great show, of that there is no doubt.
The problem with this is the packaging. It is so horrible that the entire thing is just unprotected.
Would you just throw your discs together somewhere, leaving them unprotected? That's exactly what the individuals behind this product expect you to do. Two separate 'halves' of the box, each have a spindle to put your disc in, collecting them in a group. Talk about a huge, huge mess, and massive problems when it comes to keeping discs protected.

A+++++ for the show
F----- for the packaging!

Great price for the complete series. Packaging not a problem for me!!!
Got this in the mail today for a great price. I myself have absolutely no problem with the packaging!!!. I have "Sanford and Son" CS , and "Soap" CS and both are packaged the same way on spindles & NONE of the discs in any of these sets are scratched or even have a mark on them!!!. Is the packaging a little cheaper?...Yes Is it a problem?
...I definately think not. Its nice to have the whole series in a much more compact case for a much cheaper price than the individual seasons. Very pleased with my purchase. Great price for a great series. Definately Recomended in my opinion, and don't let some of these comments about the packaging deter you from getting this set as the discs are fine packaged this way!

Autopsy Born Undead

Finally!
I've been a fan of Autopsy since right around the release of "Severed Survival". This is back when I used to discover bands by reading the thanks list from a tape or CD. If I remember correctly I found the name in the thanks list from my Pestilence "Consuming Impulse" tape and discovered that this was the Chris Reifert from Death's "Scream Bloody Gore", another one of my favorites. I was blown away by what I was hearing, especially with the slow and mid-tempo stuff. So catchy and so heavy it made me want to wreck shit. I loved "Retribution for the Dead" and "Mental Funeral" was a pure masterpiece. Out of all of the shows I've been to over the years I only got to see Autopsy once on the tour for "Acts of the Unspeakable", which I think was at the Roxy in Long Island.

I'm certainly glad to have Autopsy back and I was really looking forward to this DVD. I was afraid that this release was never going to see the light of day after my pre-orders had been canceled a couple of...

Steins;Gate: Complete Series, Part One (Blu-ray/DVD Combo)

one of the greatest animes ever
Steins;Gate is a very compelling story and yes it does start out a little slow but it is this development that makes the climax of the series so enthralling. Funimation did a great job dubbing this show to the point that it is even comparable to the Japanese which is also spectacular. The blu-ray looks wonderful. The dvd's are nothing to scoff at either. As for the special features they were lacking as basically they were commentary and a map, which in the blu-ray version is interactive. The commentary itself is almost as entertaining as the episodes they're superimposed on, in other words they're great. If you are a time travel fanatic then this is a must have. If you like anime in general this show is amazing.

Groundhog Day meets Terminator
Steins; Gate is a truly original Anime. OK, no story is ever TRULY original now, I know, but the mix included here is.

The first bunch of episodes are happy go lucky, in a fun sort of way. Okabe is a mad scientist trying to build a time machine to fight against the "establishment." Along for the ride are his friends Mayuri and Haru. When he finds a dead girl at a convention, only to later that day be told he never went to the convention, we realize something is going on. Then when he meets the same girl at a different lecture, we know for sure something's up. As the story progresses we add more female characters (it's not a harem show, I promise!) and a LOT more drama. And they change the past (well, change the past, that changes the future...) with a MICROWAVE and email/text messages!

By the end of the first part of Steins; Gate things have gone terribly wrong, with Okabe fighting to retain his sanity and save dear friend.

Based on a "graphic novel"...

One of The Best Animes of the Decade.
This show has one of the best plot's for an anime that I have ever seen. The voice acting is amazing and the humor is superb. I have recommended this show to all my friends who have gone on to only say other good things about it. The show starts out with a lght sense of humor and a great cast and by the second half the show becomes increasingy dark when problems arise as the main character Rintarou creates a time machine accidently which leads him to mess around with time trying to figure out how it works which causes problems that he must undo to save his loved ones.

Seinfeld: Season 9

A great & unique comedy series takes its final bow
Season nine starts where we left off the previous season, with George recovering from injuries he took down a flight of stairs, thus interrupting the "Summer of George" he was planning to enjoy with his generous severance check from the New York Yankees. George quickly finds another job, but his potential new boss has misunderstood his cane, and before George can explain the boss tells George about all of the benefits he will enjoy as a handicapped employee. George decides to go along with the ruse when he discovers he will have his own specially outfitted bathroom to suit his handicap - a perk George cannot resist. When George is found out by his employer and even offered another generous severance package to leave, he decides to dig in and the whole situation turns into a humorous seige. George never fails to offend and infuriate people, so later in the season when an acquaintance is working on step nine of the AA program by going around and apologizing for past transgressions...

Ending on a high note
Many Seinfeld fans were disappointed to see the show end, but it's very understandable that Jerry wanted to end while the show was on top rather than wait until they ran out of ideas.

This season is filled with episodes that contain that classic Seinfeld style of humor. Many people who don't like Seinfeld don't appreciate how complex and well written the story lines can be. The Betrayal (or Backwards episode) seems to be dreaded by many but is a favorite for me. I see it as a well written and thought out episode that ventures into a much more daring style of writing. Show me a movie or TV show that comes even close to this format (flashbacks DON'T count) and still maintains a funny and engaging plot.

The final episode was a disappointment for me, and I will also admit that it fell short of the standards set by the previous episodes. But I also applaud their ability to bring the show to a close and still incorporate so many of the extras that made appearances...

Festivus for the Rest-of-Us
After nine hilarious seasons, Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards say goodbye in "Seinfeld: The Complete Ninth Season". "Seinfeld" follows the funny misadventures of stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his close group of eccentric friends going through everyday life in New York City. In the final season, Jerry becomes annoyed when his rival Kenny Bania receives much success as a "time slot hit". George tries to preserve his decades-old high score on a Frogger machine. Elaine gets a big surprise when she is invited to a 13-year-old boy's bar mitzvah. Kramer finds the old studio set from "The Merv Griffin Show" and turns his entire life into a talk show. "Seinfeld" is the award-winning comedy series that became one of the most watched sitcoms on television. The ninth and final season has some very funny moments and clever subplots. The season includes such notable episodes like "The Slicer", "The Betrayal", "The Merv Griffin Show" and "The...

Charlie's Angels: The Complete Series

Complete boxset is COMPLETE JOKE!
Wow, Sony has gone from an excellent dvd company to one that is really getting on my nerves, big time!!!!!!!!!This boxset is unique in that it crams the series into two spindles then gives you a piece of cardboard that is shaped like the spindle holder to cram down on top of the dvds to keep them in place, you lose that, or it bends to much , guess what, ALL the dvds will fall out!Sony makes me sick, they started out with nice slimline cases, they did a beautiful job on Bewitched and the like, even after the first two seasons of Charlie's Angels, they started to get it right, now this? Sony sold out and they lost this customer!

Update: Not even an hour since receiving boxset and it has already fallen apart, the glue that holds one set of the spindles came unglued and i noticed the other is barely hanging on,it just keeps getting worse and worse, these are so going back, was gonna keep them and just make cases for Season Five , since i already own 1-4, but not now, Sony can...

All Calm down!!
I got this from [...]
This is the complete series and yes season 5 will be released seperately!
See below

Charlie's Angels - Front/Rear Box Art for 'The Complete Series,' Plus Word of Separate 'Season 5'
September 25th release of the entire show's run (in time for the holidays), then a separate S5 set down the road

Once upon a time, there were three little girls who went to work for Charles Townsend, a mysterious man they never got to see, at his Beverly Hills detective agency. And they became the sexiest, most eye-popping crime-stopping private eyes to ever grace TV.

On September 22, 1976, "Charlies Angels" premiered, making Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith overnight superstars. The series continued for five unforgettable seasons and included four different sets of Angels. When Fawcett left after the first season (she returned in the third and fourth seasons as a guest star in...

Better Off Waiting for Season 5 On Its Own
With better packaging, this could have been an excellent release for the price, even having to double-dip on Seasons 1-4. However, the plastic spindles are very cheap and there are cardboard inserts to keep the stacked discs in place. The set looks very nice until you open it up and see how the discs are stacked. **NOTE** See the photos I posted of this in the IMAGES Section of this product.

There are no new bonus features included which is a shame, only the "Angels Forever" featurette that originally appeared on the Season 1 set that came out way back in 2003. Still, this was a must-have for me, having waited FOREVER for Season 5 on DVD. Now I wish I would have waited though for the stand-alone release that is rumoured to be coming out later. I will probably buy that and sell this set.

We kick off the final season with a two-parter that forgoes the exotic location shooting of season-openers past and brings us instead a standard case of murder and corruption...

Modern Times Warriors - Krav Maga: Kapap & Close Combat Ops (2 Disc Set)

Returned
Discs read error and had to send them back, disappointing since I was really looking forward to trying these out.

Modern Times Warriors rock!
This video was very impressive. The instructors were very adept at imparting their information and techniques. I recommend their DVDs to anyone looking to begin learning Krav Maga.

Krav Maga
This is one DVD I wished I had when I was in Law Enforcement...Shows so much more that what I was taught during my time in service. I would recommend this to all my friends.

Pac-Man: The Complete Second Season

Season 2 + Christmas Comes to Pacland
This DVD contains the entire Season 2 of the Pac-Man cartoon series from the 1980s, plus the "Christmas Comes to Pacland" special (which actually aired during Season 1 but is not included in the Season 1 DVD set).

Unlike Season 1 which came on 2 discs, Season 2 has fewer episodes so everything fits onto 1 disc. The disc includes 8 episodes (each episode contains 2 stories):

- "Here's Super-Pac", "Hey, Hey, Hey... It's P.J."
- "The Super-Pac-Bowl", "Journey into the Pac-Past"
- "The Public Pac-Enemy No. 1", "The Old Pac-Man and the Sea"
- "The Greatest Show in Pacland", "Pac-A-Thon"
- "The Genii of Pacdad", "P.J. Goes Pac-Hollywood"
- "Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Pac-Man", "Around the World in 80 Chomps"
- "Super-Pac vs. Pac-Ape", "Computer Packy"
- "Pac Van Winkle", "Happy Pacs-Giving"

Each episode consists of the opening sequence (about 30 seconds long), the first story (about 11 minutes long), the second story (about 11...

Pac-Man Season 2
Another great Season of Pac-Man. This season would be the introduction of Super-Pac who actually in my opinion was a wonderful addition to the show. My favorite episodes for this season are "Super-Pac vs. Pac-Ape" and "Pac Van Winkle". This disc also contains the First season premiere of "Christmas Comes to Pac-Land" which was a televison special that aired at night. Unlike the first season release, Pac-Mania cartoons are a bonus feature and are not slated in between the episodes, not sure if that matters to anyone and does not effect how great the show is for me. The DVD-R Disc plays perfectly in my DVD player and very good quality and design. You have the choice to play all, or choose your selection from the menu. I am happy Pac-Man season 2 has been released to DVD.

Great Transfer of Season 2 but cover is Missing some info on Bonus Content
I received this today and put it in my DVD player I looked at the menu screen bonuses and there was the Christmas special and another bonus that wasn't mentioned all the Pacmania shorts from Season 2 Thanks WB for this complete Series! I will keep buying these classic HB and Ruby Spears series since this is when the animation was called animation.
