Lost Trust [HD]

Disappeared Season 2
This is one of the best shows on television. Not only is it a way to bring true life stories to the attention of others but it's also a way to educate and learn some valuable lessons in life showing how in the "blink of an eye" you can be lost forever. If you are looking for a show that touches your heart and makes you think then this is truly the show for you. I highly recommend this show.

The Best of True Crime!!!
Disappeared rises above the other true crime programs by wisely avoiding the melodramatic re-creations seen in similar shows. This engrossing production delivers the facts of each case in a concise and well laid out format. Each episode gets the same treatment from the competent but not overpowering narrator who calmly relates each tragedy. I highly recommend spending your time with this well crafted ID show!

SO SAD; THE FAMILY NEEDS ANSWERS
This is from my town Rochester Ny. This is horrible i feel the parents pain. When i was her age thought i knew it all and anything can happen at any moment when your out and alone.I hope the family gets closure. This told me alot more than what our local news tells us on what happen.

Fancy Dancin' Goofy [HD]

Love Mickey
Mickey entertains my 20 month old long enough for me to fold the laundry or take a shower. There's not much more I can ask for in life.

Good Kids Entertainment
Jake and the neverland pirates is a good kids show, my son is 5 years old and he has watched this episode several times without getting bored. There is some fun and some education in every Jake and the Neverland Pirates Episode.

My son loved it
My son thought this was really great. He wanted to watch something that had captain hook in it and this fit the bill. He watched it a few times now.

One of the best Disney Cartoon
I have a little boy who just turned 2 years old and he is in love with Jake. I think it colors and activities make the little ones in love. Also the songs are so great!

Love MMC, but...
...it is absolutely ridiculous that there is not a discounted, entire season price for this like there is for hundreds of other TV shows on Amazon. I don't know if it's Amazon or Disney making that decision, but there is no way I'm paying $2 per episode for 30-40 episodes per season. That's ridiculous! I was considering buying each full season to get some variety since On Demand is not getting many these days, but now I don't know if I will purchase any more than the three I already bought purely on principle.

Grandkids love it!
My granddaughter who is 2 ordered this and her and her brother who is 5 now love playing on my kindle and especially love this product. Thanks so much!

Stopped Working on Roku
I purchased 4 episodes of this show approximately 2 - 3 weeks ago. Things were working great until a week ago. As of 12/1/2012, the episodes I purchased no longer show up in the video library on either of my Roku devices (both a current and an older model). All other movies and shows I purchased on Amazon continue to work fine. The problem is just isolated to this show (and maybe just the first season).

I attempted to contact Amazon's customer support department 3 times, but that was a waste of time. On the first attempt, the representative refunded me for a totally unrelated purchase I made over a year ago. On my second attempt, they told me to un-register and re-register my devices (that didn't work). On the third attempt, they told me that it was elevated to their technical team. That was approximately 1 week ago, and I haven't heard anything since.

This experience has really turned me off to Amazon's Instant Video service. The fact that purchased...

Heartland: The Complete Fifth Season - Season 5

Heartland Series
This series is the unqualified great one about western ranch life and horses. Made in Alberta Canada, the scenery is absolutely spectacular. The quality of the filming, writing and acting is second to none. You seldom see an actress so good with horses as is Amber Marshall. The series is still being filmed and with good reason. This is first rate. Buy it.

Awesome. Roast Master!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you love roasts like I do then you will love Jeff and his guests tear people up. Absolutely one of my favorites

Seriously, if you like no holes barred humor...this is for you.
I have always thought of Jeff Ross as one of the funniest guys in the group when doing the celebrity roasts. Now that he has his own show the shackles are off and Jeff pursues any person worthy of getting their hypocrisy exposed to them whether it be night club bouncers to meter maids to the creeps at the Westboro Baptist Church, that's right....Jeff goes to them and let's em' have it.

Episode 30

love this show!!!
I am sick and bed ridden. This show keeps me entertained!!! The epsiodes are worth the money! !! If you start watching any episode you will want to keep watching!!

I love this show and Amazon video is great.
Great quality and access by Amazon, will use it again if I miss some of my shows. I have recommended it several times as well.

Dan is BACK
Great season, it was like an all stars 2, 4 of the top players (well, 3 top players and Britney) return to play as coaches, but end up joining the game. I was very excited to see Janelle and Dan again, love them both. Never was a Boogie fan, and w/o Will it felt wrong. Trying to resurrect Chill Town did not work for me.

As far as I am concerned (I know not everyone agrees), Dan dethroned Dr. Will as the BEST Big Brother player of all time, proved he is THE puppet master. Dan came into the house with everyone wanting him out, preceded by his reputation as the winner of BB10. After the second weeks his team was down to one player. Somehow he took control and had all the other players under his will. It was amazing to him play and make other people do things and make them think it was their idea. And then just as he was practically out the door, there was Dan's funeral, the single most awesome move in the history of BB.

Weapons of the Superspies

Found My Helicopter Unit Video in This Title
Well, this is a prejudiced review of this video that covered military troop movement research. It covers the flying platforms that were tried as a means of transporting soldiers into battle. It looks at everything from fan-powered "flying saucers", to flying platforms, to the rocket belts we saw in one of the James Bond movies. All these were pretty much replaced by the more practical methods learned in Viet Nam using helicopters. Being a Viet Nam era Army helicopter pilot, that part caught my eye. There was about a three minute segment showing the 25th Infantry Division being picked up by the 187th Assault Helicopter Company (The Crusaders) in Tay Ninh RVN. I know this because I remember the day this was filmed! I was flying that day and the choppers clearly have the Crusader Shield as nose art. We had to make a couple of flights in to get what the photographers wanted. We were joking on the radios about looking good and smiling for the cameras. So, I am prejudiced about this video...

Great movies and a fun and interesting new presentation model
We love these kind of movies and while many of them are starting to be clones of each other, this series has a great new approach and presentation model that really stimulates interest in the content.

Each movie in the series has distinct and well choreographed information. As with any live interviews, their usage of real people from the actual events is fabulous. Many of the new series' seem to be grabbing anyone they can throw an 'expert' label on, but they get the actual boots on the ground people in this one and it adds greatly to the authenticity.

Well done. I wish there were more, but the effort that went into these makes them obviously a lot of work, but that is what makes them a great product for the money.

I really loved the commentators in this one also. They seemed very professional, not newbies that over dramatize to get their point across. These folks where colorful, articulate and just plain likeably sharp!

The Tech of D-Day
This episode "Secret Weapons of D-Day" covers the modified tanks (Hobart's Funnies) used to solves specific landing problems during the Normandy landings such as: getting the firepower of a tank onto the beaches to engage the German pillboxes, reaching the beach with a tank during an amphibious landing, traversing a sandy beach with a tank, cutting a safe path for infantry through mine fields and barbed wire, and crossing battlefield obstacles. The allies also had to create, transport, and setup a port where none existed.

The information in this episode is interesting and provides a look at the technical side of the D-Day landing that is often overlooked in history courses. I would recommend this video to those teaching a class on WWII and to social studies teachers who wish to present a history of technology class.

Great second season
I could write all day about why I like the Star Wars episodes, but I am sure all you star war fans agree, these are the best ever. My an reason s the animation , it's top of he line. I will rate all fie seasons the same, simple e cause I love them all. I watch them several times over. I love a story that continues its plot, and these anis are just that, purely perfect writing for these 24 minute episodes, but they are worth adding to your collection guys, don't miss out on the best animation series ever!

Probably 3.5 stars.
Overall I really enjoyed this series but season one and the first half (or so) of this season were a little hard to get through. It's worth it in the end and there are some gems in this season. Cad Bane is probably the best character to come out of this series.

Great TV SHOW!
I love this TV series, and hope they make many more Star Wars TV shows. All of the seasons are action packed with many side stories that I enjoyed.

Thomas & Friends: Blue Mountain Mystery the Movie

Superb tale of mystery, trust, and doing the right thing!
My 4 year old Thomas fanatic and I were able to see Blue Mountain Mystery at Showcase Cinemas' Kidtoons. He was so excited, and it didn't disappoint! Even better, I loved it. One thing that is important to me is realism, and unlike prior Thomas movies where Thomas floats on water and logs magically get tossed by Wheezy onto flatbeds, this movie was much more realistic.

This story heralds a return many of the "old" familiars, including many on the narrow gauge engine line that we don't see very often in the current Thomas the Tank Engine series on TV like Rheneas, Skarloey, and Rusty. Annie and Clarabel have some really cute spots with Thomas on his Branch Line that had the whole theater laughing. His relationship with them is charming.

Blue Mountain Mystery also introduces us to some fun new characters: Merrick the quarry crane, Luke the narrow gauge engine, Owen the quarry lift, and Winston the crazy rail-mobile that Sir Topham Hatt drives (very...

Fantastic Film, Bad Discs
Blue Mountain Mystery revolves around Luke, a small green narrow gauge engine. He's afraid he'll be sent away if anyone finds out what he did. Through investigation and hard work, Thomas befriends Luke and learns what happened. After hearing Luke's story, Thomas sets off to find the yellow engine who fell off the boat.

BMM is a major improvement from the poorly constructed "Day of the Diesels" and the awful "Misty Island Rescue". The dialogue is no longer forced and there is not exaggeration on words. The film also has some hidden easter eggs on the biggest of Thomas fans will notice. Such are: The Marklin Engine (in scrap form) at the Dieselworks, The "Rolling Eyes" effect, etc. It's also the first time the Narrow Gauge engines are seen in FULL CGI!

The discs, on the other hand, are a mystery themselves. This is the first Thomas disc to be released in its native 23.976 frame rate. This allows for better quality overall throughout the film. But the main problem...

Cute Movie
I bought this for my friends son who is four. He has watched it about 10 times in a week... I have watched it with him- Its a cute story line.. Not muct to add as its a Typical Thomas tale, just a new journey- Another winner for Thomas!

Johnterryl Plumeri and the Moscow Philharmonic Live at Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow

Spectacular Music !
I have several Plumeri works, however the DVD brings a wonderful visual experience to the listener. Spectacular music in a spectacular concert hall! The music and visual effects were excellent!
This DVD is a wonderful addition to my library!
C.Marts

A master musician at work
Johnterryl Plumeri is an accomplished and masterful musician - a talented composer and conductor and a bass player unequaled in his generation. He is the only American composer to conduct the Moscow Philharmonic performing Tchaikovsky. Note he has memorized the score! It often takes a century for a musician or an artist or a writer to be truly appreciated. In this digital age, I hope this is not the case. This man's compositions and contribution to music, need to be heard now by people longing for the sophistication and emotional honesty that music offers. You will want all his work once you hear what he has to give.

Johnterryl Plumeri Conducts the Moscow Philharmonic Live
One starts out with feeling this should be special - Tchaikovsky played by the Moscow Philharmonic at Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow - but you should be prepared to be dazzled!

Whether you treat yourself to this DVD or someone treats you with it you receive so much within this one small package: You have a composer with infinite respect for the music as written conducting Tchaikovsky's work with a superb orchestra. You have the pleasure of having a truly gifted composer/musician conduct his own work. You have the Moscow Philharmonic musicians responding to Plumeri's talent as a conductor and a composer. All this is combined into an elegant visual and audio experience.

Another remarkable aspect to Plumeri is that these talents lay across the musical spectrum - he has worked with greats in Jazz (his jazz CDs display his genius on the double bass - catch Blue in Green exhibiting his use of arco bass as the lead voice on a range of jazz standards) to his many film...

Trigger Point Performance Smart-Core Level 2-70 Minute Instructional Workout DVD

Very effective
I originally purchased the Grid system to help with stiffness as my running mileage increased.
However, the core work on these videos is fantastic and makes a noticable difference in my running
and swimming.

Great form of Exercise
I can't even begin to say how happy I am with the Smart Core Level 1 & 2 DVD's I have purchased. I have been looking for methods to strengthen my core while also maintaining flexibility and these DVD's and the Smart Core roller have satisfied my need.

good
Technically, you don't actually need their roller to do the exercises. I've substituted other rollers of similar diameter before and I really couldn't tell the difference. In fact, it's actually easier with a longer roller because the thing doesn't wander askew as much. The exercises are challenging and will definitely give you a core workout. The five and fifteen second rest periods are much shorter than five and fifteen seconds however..so prepare yourself.

The narration is good, demonstration is fine, music could be better but overall good.

3 types of workouts..quick 6 min 'blast' workout A and a workout B (both 16 min)

great exercise older generation
It is just the right amount of exercise without feeling over done and it is fun to do.

I love this DVD and use it every other day. The variety is excellent, and like the alternation of cardio and strength training -- for one thing, it's less boring than many other exercise DVD's I've used. Mirabai is a good instructor, and I also find her exercises more aesthetically pleasing than my other exercise DVD's.

Great routine
This is a great exercise routine for anyone...but especially the older crowd!! Mirabai is good at going slow and using moves that are easy to do for the older person. I am 67yrs and enjoy the moves and stretches that Mirabi takes you through. You can repeat the video to even add more cardio! I even have her first video and alternate days with both videos...skipping the strength training on the 2nd video if I do them on alternate days.

Coincidence And Happenstance Fuel Three New Mysteries, But It's Good To See Branagh's Wallander Again
Kenneth Branagh has become something of an industry chameleon and his evolution in the entertainment world has been fascinating and unpredictable to watch. Making his name by spearheading Shakespearean adaptations (his first "Henry V" earned him a couple of Oscar nods for Best Director and Best Actor), he branched off into more mainstream roles before becoming an A-list director of blockbusters (Thor, anyone?). He might not have been my first choice to play Henning Mankell's enigmatic and introspective Swedish detective Wallander, but he's come to inhabit the role quite comfortably. He was, after all, born in Northern Ireland which is quite different (even if geographically close) than Mankell's Scandinavian protagonist. If anything, though, he epitomizes the unstable nature and world weary despair that personifies the series of books on which these mysteries are based. It can be a showy role, but it's also one inhabited by a quiet sadness and a distinct vulnerability. These...

It's About Wallander The Man
Those who are "bored to tears" with Kenneth Branagh's portrayal of Kurt Wallander probably have never read the books. I would say his portrayal is as close as any Englishman can come. I think you have to be a fan of Henning Mankell's brilliant books to fully appreciate what is being done here. I do appreciate it, very much.

Marvelous Series
I am not the type of person who normally enjoys moody tv shows and movies. I was leery about the BBC Wallander series, with Kenneth Branagh playing the lead role of Kurt Wallander. I am so glad I made an exception when the series was presented on Public Television. I was hooked after the first episode.

I was thrilled when the series was released on DVD and I bought the set with 9 episodes from Amazon UK. Even though I have seen most of the episodes, a few times before, I am still enjoying them again. One of the plus sides of short-term memory loss is that I can watch my favorite shows over and over as I am doing with Wallander.

One of the best features of the series is the breathtaking scenery of southern Sweden. It adds a unique touch I haven't found in any other series outside of documentaries.

I am so glad Branagh agreed to play Wallander. I think he does a wonderful job of portraying the very complex character of Wallander.

I hope...

The Final Showdown

Somewhat hilarious
First and foremost, I missed Lisa. She was a refreshing change to the show. I hope she returns soon. Maya on the otherhand I did not miss. Women truckers across the Country just want respect from other drivers. Her little Hot Spring scene seemed to be just as degrading to women as anything else in the entertainment industry that can't tell a story without having a sexual twist to it.The guys were so childish this season, I'm better than you are, hahaha. Please, I don't need to be reminded of how high school was. There is enough disrespect for others already in the world. If I was their wife or girlfriend I would be absolutely embarrassed by their actions. Todays youth need role models in work forces, not pansy ass whiners. If I was Porkchops wife, I would not want him to come home, money or not !!! Darrell, well, he just does it for Reno, HELLO !!! I thought they were doing it for people who need supplies for their livliehood, with a nice paycheck for caring and risking your life for...

Least entertaining season
I enjoy IRT and have all the previous seasons. I was disappointed in this one. I enjoy the show so much simply by watching everybody do a hard job; and the beautiful Alaska and Canadian scenery. I found this season to be weighed down by a lot more scripted drama than past years. Previously they'd have "good guys" and "bad guys" but this year everybody was an obnoxious rooster, and nobody likable. (Don't believe for a minute that Jack's melt down was not scripted for drama - he's too mature and professional for that nonsense). It's sort of becoming the Real Housewives of Ice Road Trucking......and there are no women this year! Who would have thought the show would get more catty with no women? Anyway, sad to see a good show have to lower itself to the standard of "reality TV" drama.

Ice Road Truckers Instant Video
It is amazing and thankful that Amazon was able to wrangle the ability to present these. When someone is attempting to follow a presentation but gets denied the TV presentation (for whatever reason), they are now able to count on Amazon to prevent the loss of continuity of programming with Instant Video --- especially presentations on The Weather Channel, Discovery, and History. These are Great!!

A Tragic Turn

Episode: The Coin Shop Killer
I liked watching "Body of Evidence" either before or after watching "Forensic Files." In each episode, Dayle Hinman, a profiler, uses to clues to trace who the killer must be before a name or identity is known. I saw "The Silence of the Lambs" for the first time in years and Hinman does a lot of what Clarisse Starling (Jody Foster) without being scary and shocking.
A person who sold coins began robbing and killing current coin sellers. He used the Internet to go around the country completing these awful slayings. The facts here will make you fear how much information the Internet provides to the world. Also, it shows that killers can come from states and time zones far away.
Ms. Hinman has a calm, soothing voice. You might wonder why she didn't become a counselor or psychologist, rather than a profiler. Almost all of the cases come from Florida.
I wish this show was still on the air. This episode, and many others, are really great.

Really, Amazon? $1.99 for 22 minutes?
I've never seen this show thus the "average" rating, but I never will see this show so long as Amazon keeps it's prices unfair. I pay $1.99 per 44 minute - 1 hour tv episode gladly ( sometimes $1.89 per show, if I get the season pass) but the same price for an item half that long. Seems like gouging to me. ANY half an hour tv show or less should reflect a fair price cut such as $.99 per episode. It's only fair. Maybe then I could give a fairer review, but you get as good as you give.

Kinda like 48 hours or something
I like this true crime show. Its about this lady who's an investigator and she kind of re-enacts how she came to different conclusions and then they show how the person got caught and stuff. No real photos or anything.

Trigger Point Performance Smart-Core Level 1-70 Minute Instructional Workout DVD

It should warn you that you need their special roller
The image is too small to see that you really need their particular brand of foam roller in order to find these exercises very useful. Half the emphasis of the exercises was on the massage of the bumps, which I don't have on my standard dark gray roller. And I don't want to spend over $30 to buy yet another roller just so I can use this DVD! Not to mention, the price was way too high for the amount of content, even if I did have the right kind of roller. There are a few exercises but I could probably have been just as satisfied by downloading free videos from Youtube. What I really wanted was a complete core workout and this really is not it. I wish I could return it!

This cut down on my chiropractor visits.
This apparatus helped my hamstrings much better than my chiropractor did. Overall I have cut way back on having to visit my chiropractor. Som of these stretches might not be suited to the elderly or for those who are not physically active

Great!!
Provides the foundation for the next levels in two short segments. Very good core work with
noticable improvements in less than 1 month.

Are We Having Fun Yet?

One important feature is missing...
I recently purchased Make it or Break it Volume 2 and automatically assume it should provide closed caption or subtiles but to my surprise, this volume 2 dvd doesnt but the first volume does. So why stop there? And plus I know that on tv, it provided closed captions. I am deaf myself and this bit of information would have been helpful.

Why no English subtitles???
This is a fantastic series, I was anxiously awating part 2 of season 1. But WHAT HAPPENED??? There are NO English subtitles for the hearing impaired. I'm not totally deaf, but most of the characters in this series talk very fast, and their enunciation is not that great. Part 1 included subs in French, Spanish, and English for hearing impaired. In part 2 they dropped this essential feature. WHY??? A subtitle track is a simple text file with timing script. Less than 1 MB of space. The show had closed captions available on the broadcast TV but NOT on the DVD collectors edition??? I am so sick of this!!! I will be re-selling this set, and waiting for a re-issue with proper features.

Please write to ABC Family Channel, Paul Lee, President, 3800 West Alameda Ave., Burbank, CA 91505 and let them know your concerns, Thank you!

(La Femme Nikita did the same thing. Seasons 1-4 all have English subs. But not on Season 5. Show a little concern for the hearing impaired.)

disgusted
I am truly disgusted that I spent hours watching season 1 and getting involved in the story and characters only to discover Volume 2 and 3 are NOT captioned. Why would you caption the older episodes and not the newer ones? I did enjoy volume 1, however will not even bother with the next two volumes since it is too much of a struggle to understand it and enjoy. Also, those of you who want to watch this with your children....be careful because there are a lot of adult topics. (losing virginity, eating disorders, adultery) Be prepared to do some explaining if your kids are not teenagers yet...which a lot of kids interested in gymnastics are 10 and under.

Not so Great
Its definitely not worth the $1.99 for a 30 minute show - and the content is just so-so. I would have preferred spending my money on an hour long crime show like Sensing Murder.

It is real life show. It is credible material.
And it is true life and death stuff.
Believe it. And better yet - go buy it.

Flakes on parade
It was this show that gave me the startling realization that not only women are verbally and emotionally abused - that men are abused, as well (& relatives & even bff's, who if they didn't have something that magnetizes them to this abuser, said abuser would literally have no friends!) ... I like to watch weddings! as is evident by my play list ... but some of these are hard to watch, even for a diehard wedding fan like myself!

More Clone Wars fun
Clone Wars in season 4 continued to impress. This season was filled with several multi-episode story arcs. I found the first half of the season generally disappointing. The Mon Calamari arc didn't do any favors to Admiral Ackbar's character. The Umbaran battle arc has impressive visuals, but dragged on a bit long. I generally found the slaver's arc to be uninspired, with too many silly stereotypes (including an entire race of slaver's with Russian accents).

The second half of the season really picked up the pace with Obi-Wan Kenobi's undercover arc. I loved seeing more of the bounty hunters, especially Cad Bane! There were some great moments foreshadowing Anakin Skywalker's downfall. Then, of course, the finale, with Asajj become a freelance agent, Boba Fett getting a helmet, and Darth Maul!

Overall, this season definitely showed that the animators have the technical capability to do just about anything on the show. The second half of the season showed that the...

Blu-ray Review: "Star Wars: The Clone Wars - the Complete Season Four"
"Star Wars" fans are a fickle bunch. Some choose to believe only the original trilogy is to be taken seriously. Others are willing to accept all six of the films in the live-action series and that's all. I belong to the last group I'm about to talk about.

The faction I belong to will devour anything Lucas and company delivers in regards to a "Galaxy Far, Far Away." We're happy to get anything that expands the universe we love so much. Individuals who fall into this category but don't have the luxury of cable, satellite television, or high speed internet connections can now celebrate in the news that Lucasfilm and Warner Bros. released "Star Wars: The Clone Wars - The Complete Season Four" on Bu-ray and DVD.

Season Four of the show features the Jedi and Clone troopers continuing their tireless campaign to help different alien species fight for freedom against Battle Droids, Sith lords, and other deadly forces on strange worlds. Things get more complicated when a...

Season 4 is my favorite season to date I love the multi arc episodes and this season had 2 different 4 part story arcs also 2 different 3 parters and a 2 parter to close the season. Without giving too much away I would say the Umbara arc was one of the best and darkest of the series and darkest and well the cover gives away another big story with Darth Maul which was handled very well. If you are fan of the show this is a no brainer Clone Wars is turning out to be one of the all time greats and a nice addition to The Star Wars Universe. So it turns out it's the slim cheaper packaging again I knew it would be but oh well still on content alone it's well worth the purchase for any Star Wars fan simply a great show that gets better every Season.

The Other Shoe [HD]

engaging, entertaining & Funny!
My 24 year old daughter talked me into watching this show on MTV with her. I thought there was no way I would enjoy this show because I'm a 63 year old male and a grandfather. Just one episode of season two had me hooked. To my amazement the show sucked me right into the world created by the great writing and acting by this cast. The show is funny, cleverly written, with a slew of twists and turns that keeps me guessing and entertained. The episodes are only a half an hour long but they fly by leaving me eager to see what will happen next. It's become my guilty pleasure. I wish they were an hour long!
The show brings back all those anxieties, crushes, what ifs, and pitfalls many of us have experienced in high school. Yet keeps you entertained and laughing through every twist and turn. It makes me wish I could go back and live those high school and college years again. Give this show a try and you'll be glad you did.

For Adults Too.
I love this show. When It first came out, I was not interested, but ended up watching an episode that came on in the middle of the day. I couldn't believe how funny it was. Here is a show that can be appreciated by everyone. Some one my age (31) who can look back on my high school years and be thankful they are over, while finding humor in the situation. Anyone my age probably had a mean girl like Sadie who would say something hateful to people (but at least she says Your Welcome after) and made you hate her and think that she was a bad person. On the show you see that while Sadie says terrible things, she is very human and you end up relating to the mean girl. Some one high school age can relate the characters and experiences that they may be having right now. They should be able to see the humor in the situation and maybe feel not so alone. Is the show over the top, yes, and some much better for it. All of the characters are very different from each other but compliment...

Love this series.
What can I say, I love this series. The animation is in a class all by itself. LucasFilms is just an inch away from never needing live actors again. The writing is great and the direction is theater quality.

BEWARE JAR-JAR WARNING! Jar-Jar appears in this series (all seasons). Luckily, there are episode descriptions before you make the painful mistake of watching Jar-Jar for more than a millisecond thus sending you into retching convulsions which will alert you to his hideous presence, so you can skip those.

Awesome shows
Full of action and adventure. There is a lot of battles and relatively authentic Star Wars fighting paraphernalia. There is hand-to-hand combat and battles on land and air. Awesome storylines.

Worth it to get into the later seasons.
I wasn't a huge fan of season 1, but the show just gets better from here. It's worth picking this season up to really understand some of the longer arcs of the show.

AWESOME for kids AND adults
My 6 1/2 year old son has gotten me helplessly addicted to the Clone Wars. We breathlessly anticipated the premier of Season 3, and boy, were we not disappointed! The episodes where (possible SPOILER?!) Darth Sidious orders Ventress to be assassinated were an awesome little interlude in the series. You actually find yourself rooting for Ventress in her quest to stay alive and exact revenge on Dooku for the betrayal. 'Padawan Lost' and the following episode, 'Wookiee Hunt', were an incredible way to end the season. The appearance of Chewbacca was so awesome, and a nice nod to us old school fans.

What I like about the series is that, even though there is some violence depicted, it is not gratuitous. I feel that this show somewhat realistically shows what happens in a war. My son is taught lessons on the importance of honor, peace, and doing the right thing. Of course I, as his parent, strive to teach him these things myself, but it doesn't hurt to have Captain Rex, Commander...

These Episodes Redeem the Prequels
I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I DVR'd and then watched the entire season 3. Combine the technology and characters found in the Star Wars movies with the backstories and immersion of the Essential Guide books, and you've got the Clone Wars TV episodes. Yes, they are CGI cartoons, but they're extremely well done - the Star Wars technology, the intricate stories never found in the movies, the soundtracks and the music. This is the Star Wars galaxy I was looking for in the prequels. Dozens of different planets, creatures and droids - all meticulously detailed and rendered. Aliens of all types. Action, with a minimum of Star Wars politics, and no awkward love stories. And these stories are dark and funny, perfect guilty pleasures for the Star Wars fan. Well done George Lucas - you can be proud of this new chapter in the Star Wars saga.

The Empire Cheaps Out!
I'm only going to speak here about how annoyed I am by the cheap, inconsistent packaging of Season Three. I have no doubts about Lucas's reasons, but let me list them here, for clarity.

1. They know we're going to buy it.
Honestly - who, having bought Seasons One and Two, is not going to buy Season Three? No one, that's who. If they'd recorded these on consumer-recordable blu-rays and shipped 'em in a brown paper bag, we'd still buy them. They know that.

2. This release will not lure in any new buyers.
On the flipside of point #1, no person who *didn't* buy Seasons One and Two is suddenly going to buy this one, so Lucas & co know they don't need to spend any more money to 'impress' new customers. Those people aren't buying the show, and no amount of fancy packaging is going to change their minds.

3. They're going to double-dip us later.
I don't know about you, but I was really keen on seeing every season of this show lined up on my...

Meh...
I am teaching a class on this topic (and writing my doctoral dissertation). I purchased this video, hoping to show it to my class. After viewing it, I decided not to. It's probably ok for someone who has never heard of human trafficking or learned anything at all about it.

Good video
I used this video in my class to teach property crimes. It was very informative! My kids enjoyed it! Nice!

Synthetic vs natural
Very informative information regarding products containing jwh, amd, and other synthesized cannabinoids. If decriminalization occurred on a federal level, individuals wouldn't resort to easily obtainable gas station alternatives.

How to Scale, Fillet & Can Fish

Watch You Tube Instead
This video is just okay. What you see here on scaling and filleting is extremely basic, and the video appears to be homemade, although in a well done fashion. That isn't to say it is not informative, but what you find here you can find on You Tube for free. The segment on canning fish was the most informative for me, but that wasn't really why I was renting it. I wanted to learn more about cleaning and filleting; and this video does not provide any more information on those subjects than is already provided for free on You Tube.

Roosevelt and Rufus: Educational Edition

Roosevelt & Rufus: Great video about St. Augustine, the history, and human interest!
We got this video recently and really enjoyed it. St. Augustine is our favorite vacation spot and we have been going there for over 30 years. When we saw Roosevelt and Rufus, the video about the tour guide and his horse and carriage, we were amazed at how it really captures the magic of the many tours we have taken in St. Augustine. It is clear that Roosevelt and Rufus both know the Ancient City well and enjoy sharing the stories with visitors. Bruce Merwin has caught the pair on his video and brings them to life for all of us to enjoy. The carriage tours are such fun that people do not mind doing them many times. With this video we can even enjoy the tour when we are at home and imagine the fun we will have when we return to St. Augustine. This will help keep the story alive for years!

Jerry

A Celebration of the American Spirit
"Roosevelt and Rufus" is a love letter to character and tradition. It honors a man and a city. It gives us the joy of seeing someone making a living at something that brings HIM joy. In its own way, this film salutes the American dream.

Roosevelt Upshaw is a horse-and-carriage tour guide in the small, history-rich town of St. Augustine, Florida, the country's oldest city. In the first half of this 66-minute documentary we learn about how he came to his position, his relationship with his horse Rufus, and much inside information about his trade.

The second half highlights the actual tour that Roosevelt provides to his patrons. We quickly discover he is a gifted raconteur with a talking rhythm that is as easy on the ear as the beauty of this "ancient" city is easy on the eye. The filmmaker Bruce Merwin takes full advantage of his medium by enhancing the tour with numerous close-up images described by our engaging guide. That alone would make this film worth...

Neat idea
Cute video. Gotta love Roosevelt. My kids were amused by him. The best part of the tour is early on, when he shows us the fort and city walls.

Don't be fooled by any negative reviews. The first season was exceptional and the second season is even better. It's deeper and more complex. "Wilfred" is the most original and funniest series I've ever seen. Don't miss out on this wonderful show.

I was wrong
When I saw commercials for this show I thought that it must be so stupid - but I was wrong. It is very funny and extremely well done.

What a delightful show! Kept me entertained while in the hospital.
When I first saw this show advertised, I thought it was the silliest thing ever. And then I was laid up in the hospital with emergency foot surgery. So, I decided to watch the first season. And then I was addicted. You wouldn't think that a guy in a dog suit would be that funny, but it is really a hilarious play on life in general and Wilfred says and does things that just make life, as horrible as it can be, more bearable.

Sister Wives In Holiday Crisis [HD]

Wives galore
There are reality shows for minor celebrities, musicians, tattoo artists, rich brats, people with huge families, lesbians, superheroes, and presidential wannabes.

And with "Sister Wives Season 1," you can add polygamists (or rather, polygynists) to the long list of slightly-off-the-norm people who have put themselves on reality TV. And while this show initially seems like an interesting glimpse into a family with, um, unconventional marriage habits, it starts getting disturbing and creepy as we see more of the family patriarch.

That would be Kody Brown, who belongs to a sect that splintered off the Mormon Church about a century ago (they share many of the tenets, but still practice polgamy). He lives in an enormous house with his three wives -- bubbly Christine, down-to-earth Meri, and earth-mama Janelle -- and their vast brood of children.

Over the course of the show, a few subplots crop up. Kody courts and becomes engaged to the weepy Robyn...

One Man, Three Wives, One Fiancee (I Can't Even Count The Children)--Fascinating Topic With Superficial Execution
In a bold programming stroke, TLC flouted convention and dropped "Sister Wives" onto its 2010 TV schedule. A reality TV show in which the subject matter is considered both taboo and illegal is a daring bit of maneuvering that might have garnered TLC more press than actual viewers though. In truth, I don't watch many of these types of reality show--but I suspect people tune in because they identify with the participants or because the antics are so outrageous, they can't wait to see what happens next. As an avid fan of "Big Love" (who despite a rocky last season is TV's most consistently underrated drama) and Brady Udall's "The Lonely Polygamist" (one of my top five books of 2010), I threw caution to the wind with "Sister Wives." It might be interesting to note, at this juncture, that this TV show did open up a Utah legal investigation into the Kody Brown clan and they have subsequently relocated to an unspecified domicile in Nevada. Such is the price of fame!

CSI: NY - The Eighth Season

The (Semi) Final Season...
The eighth season of "CSI: NY" opens with Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Siniese) absent from the CSI Lab, on a DNA ID project associated with the 9/11 attacks, while Jo Danville (Sela Ward) is acting head of the CSI lab, and newly-promoted police sergeant Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo) is working the streets as a uniformed cop. However, viewers need have no fear; the CSI Lab crew will be reunited within a few exciting episodes.

An early highlight of the season was a tasteful tribute to the 9/11 anniversary, as the characters discuss where they were when it all happened. Mac Taylor sheds some light on the fate of his long missing wife, while assisting an emotionally-damaged fellow public servant to face the day. A mid-season multi-episode thriller involves a case from Jo's past with the FBI, a serial rapist who resurfaces in NYC with disturbing consequences. In late season, Mac Taylor will hestitantly consider a relationship with a woman from his past as a police...

Missing Persons bureau....
CSI:NY continues to amaze its avid followers with the uncanny brilliance of mixing science and criminology. The characters grow and mature as personalities instead of tropes. Gary Sinise remains at the helm, and his trusty associates are Carmine Giovinazzo (in a wheelchair this year after a gunshot wound to the spine), Anna Belknap, autopsy expert Robert Joy, funky A.J. Buckley who adds much of the humor when necessary, the every bright Hill Harper, and the amazingly handsome and trustworthy actor Eddie Cahill. Now Sela Ward has stepped in to attempt to fill the shoes worn for so many seasons (2004 - 2010) by the beautiful and talented Melina Kanakaredes, who is a very much-missed member of the team for many reasons. The scripts remain tight and intelligent and the pacing of the show never misses a beat. This is television series at the highest level. Nice to know it has been picked up for another season. If only Melina Kanakaredes could slip back in from missing persons....Grady...

Great Season But Image Quality is lacking
Season 8 has it's flaws creatively, but it is definitely one of the better seasons for sure.

However, the one thing that bothered me about this DVD set was the image quality. Compared to past seasons of CSI:NY and even this year's releases of CSI and CSI:MIAMI, season eight of CSI:NY has a noticeable dip in quality, possibly due to excessive image compression. Some images are blocky (artifacting) and some jagged images (aliasing) appears in some of the action/tracking shots. I know that this problem isn't because of my equipment, as I own (and tested) the other CSI shows and seasons on the same gear with no other problems.

A curious problem to an otherwise great DVD set.

If this sort of thing doesn't bother you (and admittedly, after two episodes or more, your eye adjusts) by all means get the this set; CSI:NY is a wonderful show. However, its image quality does hurt the overall presentation.

Can you believe they're cancelling this show?
AVENGERS: EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES is pretty much the best superhero cartoon series since Cartoon Network's JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED; it's incredibly smart with having Christopher Yost as show-runner, who also was behind the surprisingly excellent (and sadly cancelled) WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN; the character design and voice acting are all equally good.

Be wary; if you haven't seen the entirety of the first season, spoilers will follow.

Where this show really shines though is through character, which always stays very true to the comics, and also is in using the bits and pieces of the existing Marvel Universe mythology and creating great story arcs around them. This particular disc features fallout from the finale of the first season in which Captain America is revealed as a Skrull. For those who aren't uber-fans of comics like myself, the Skrulls are a race of shapeshifting aliens whose own world is gone and they believe they are destined to take control of Earth...

Volume 5: Earth's Mightiest Disappointment!
I am BEYOND disappointed with this release.

The episodes on the DVDs are not in the order they were aired, they are in the order they were produced. So if you watch them in the order they're in on the DVD, you're going to skip around a lot and be extremely confused with the plot-line. At one point, the "last time on the Avengers" segment actually SPOILED some major points for us before we realized that the episodes were out of order.

When studios release shows like this, it only tells me one thing: they don't give a crap about the show. They don't care about the fans, they're just putting some mess down on a DVD and calling it a day in an attempt to earn some money.

I was very happy that the season starts off with a cameo from the Fantastic Four. That was a nice surprise! Then we got a cameo from the Guardians of the Galaxy later on, another happy surprise.

But the jumbled up episodes completely ruined this release for me, especially since I...

Seinfeld: Season 7

~*INSIDE THE VAULT - EXCLUSIVE LOOK AT THE GOODIES IN SEASON 7 ~*
This was a pivotal year for Seinfeld with nearly 34 million viewers tuning in weekly ! This placed Seinfeld in the #2 rating slot of the season. Season Seven has everything from love, engagements, death, secret ATM codes, the soup Nazi, Marisa Tomei and more! This hilarious DVD is packed with all new special features created in partnership of Jerry Seinfeld.

For a show about nothing, this show has many complex plots, sub-plots, and is very well written and put together. Interestingly, until the public caught onto the series, the television critics were responsible for helping to keep it alive. The critics went on and made the series victorious in every category it was eligible for in the 1st Annual American Television Awards. Seinfeld has won a few Emmy Awards, the George Foster Peabody Award in 1992 and more. Thank God for that because here we are in the 7th Season with many top notch episodes.

Certainly, "The Soup Nazi" will go down as an all-time classic in...

Another Groundbreaking Season
Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards deliver another heavy dose of laughter in "Seinfeld: The Complete Seventh Season". "Seinfeld" follows the funny misadventures of stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld (Himself) and his close group of eccentric friends going through everyday life in New York City. In this hilarious season, Jerry's thoughtful gift lands his father under investigation for embezzling funds. George proposes to his former girlfriend Susan and desperately tries to postpone the engagement. Elaine adjusts her screening process to find worthy boyfriends when her method of birth control goes off the market. Kramer sues a gourmet coffee franchise over burns he suffered from sneaking hot coffee into a movie theater. "Seinfeld" was the popular creation of producer Larry David and stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld. In its seventh season, the NBC comedy sitcom continued to draw big ratings and become the top comedy sitcom on television. The episodes...

When "Seinfeld" became "Costanza"
Here we are, almost 11 years after Seinfeld's 7th season first aired, and it's as fresh and as vibrant as ever.

This is Larry David's last season as a producer/writer for the series, and what a ride he gives us as a farewell gift! I think it's fair to say that Seinfeld's 7th year rivals the 4th in the race for Best Season.

It doesn't have the amateurish charme of the first two, neither does it have the great blossoming of all the characters like season 3, nor has it moments of pure genius like in season 4.

But the great merit of this one is that it's as consistently funny as maybe no other season. It feels like watching a single 8 hours episode, and this is just great.

Plus, season 7 has an arc, which is just as huge and ambitious as the one from season 4. Honestly, when George uttered the line "Will you marry me?", I was a little worried, but my fears were proven unjustified.

After the pretty outlandish, almost cartoon- like...

Iron Man: Armored Adventures Season 2 Vol 2

We love this series, but...
two problems:
1 - you can't get all of season 2 on one disc yet, so each volume only has 6 episodes, and only 2 volumes available (as of 12/12)
2 - Season 2, IMHO, is not as good as 1. We miss the adventures in the search for the Makluan (sp?) rings. This season has a completely different feel. It's not that it's bad, it's just missing a particular element of fun that we were enjoying in Season 1.

Also, our kids are on the younger side (K/1st grade) and Season 2 is "older," more scary stuff, more intense action, situations they don't really get, etc. The bad guy action is much more pronounced. We severely limit their watch time of this. I still think this

Seinfeld: Season 3

HIT ITS STRIDE IN SEASON THREE
While there were some select excellent episodes during the first two seasons of Seinfeld, I've always thought Season three was when the show really hit its stride and found its comfort zone where it would remain for the next six years.

This season really defined the whole irreverance of the show and the pure ridiculous idiosyncracies of the characters. Among the great episodes of season three:

"The pen" Jerry visits his parents in florida and Jack Klompus gives Jerry the famous Astronaut pen that writes upside down.

"The Library" The library asks Jerry about a book he checked out in 1971 and never returned, so Jerry looks up an old girlfriend for his defense against a library cop. Phillip Baker Hall is priceless as the Libray Cop Bookman.

"The Subway" Everyone has an uncommon experience while going their separate ways on the subway. George meets a beautiful woman who distracts him from his intended destination, a job interview. Jerry...

Great show now on DVD
The third season of Seinfeld is when some of the really great stories came out, making this set a must have for fans of the show. Of course, I loved Seinfeld over its entire run, watching the premiere when it first aired and then watching the series till it ended, so I may be a bit biased in favor of it. The episodes are presented in the order they were filmed rather than the order they aired, which actually makes the continuity better for this set. The special features are only so-so, and I did not bother to look for hidden bits like the first set had, so there might be more to see.

As with the first set, there is for each episode a brief making-of retrospective with various cast and crew sharing their recollections. It is interesting to watch, and the different people giving commentary keeps it from seeming too repetitive. I like the Notes About Nothing, which gives subtitles of minutiae, like Girlfriend and Boyfriend Counters for the cast, Kramer Entrance Counter,...

"As for coming on here and passing on insider details; I'm a fan of other things which I wish I had an insider for to get information about my favorite show. I'd like to think I'm banking my karma points."

This release schedule seems plausible and I hope it helps in this trying time.

Recoil - A Strange Hour In Budapest (Red Edition) [Blu-ray]

Is it Live?
The band is a producer making amazing sounds, so how exactly do you do it Live? No Moby-ish band assembled, just Mr Wilder and a DJ playing an amazing Recoil mix with with a visual projection behind them. I don't know why, but it actually is really good. Maybe the look of the crowd and the video were intoxicating somehow. Maybe the mixes were that good. Maybe I wish I was there. Maybe I just love the music that much.

Mob Wives: Season 2 (5 Discs)

"You don't wanna go to war with me!"
This 5-Disc Set is even better than the first one. I've been waiting forever to get it. This time it has 17 Episodes with a Reunion Part 1 & 2. It looks like they worked hard on the discs. The discs are glossy and has a beautiful Mob Wife on each. It has deleted scenes on every disc. This season was much longer and more interesting. It was a lot better. The episodes are:
New Year, New War
Hell On Heels
Make-Ups and Break-Ups
You Don't Wanna Go To War With Me!
Old Friends, New Archenemies
Fights and Facials
Mob Daughters
Tricks or Treats?
Cabin Fever
Fire Away
Torn Apart
The Ultimate Betrayal
If Books Could Kill
Taking The Rap
Of Dogs and Men
Omerta (Season Finale)
Reunion Part 1
Reunion Part 2

PLEASE GET THIS. IT IS A MUST-SEE. It's just loaded with entertainment. My follow up review will be on Mob...
